How to find good accommodation in Seoul

Hi guy, I would like to introduce tips about accommodation that can be very memorable in Seoul

1) Buk-chon Guest houses

Yes, it is defininately a good idea to have a unique experience to stay in a Korean traditional guest house. Generally it is cheaper than hotels but more expensive than domitory hostels. It costs an estimated 70,000 won per room (max 2 or 3) - 100,000 including breakfast and free-wifi. However, there is NO BED with only duvets and pillows provided (a lot of fun however as very authentic to how Korean people lived traditionally and certainly a real Korea experience). Most of these guest houses are located in the Buk-chon area (Metro Line 3 - An guk station) nearby Insa-dong and Gyong bock gong).

This is the link of official BuckChon Hanok Village (absolutely beautiful and packed with traditional Korean arts and crafts and cultural centres)

I`m afriad there is no website that provides a list of bukchon guest houses. But if you google 'seoul bukchon guest house' then you can find several. I will attach some links of guest houses in bukchon and hope it will help when you making a decision. These are some of the most popular guest houses in bukchon hanok villiage. If you need a further information you can follow this website : http://www.visitseoul.net/en/article/article.do?_method=list&m=0003001002012&p=02

Persoanlly, I ususally stay in In-woo House in Buk-chon. But they don`t have website yet unfortunately. Young couple with two kids provide really good service and the farther of owner is one of the most famous Calligrapher, but they have only two rooms. So if you want to stay there, it is better to book eariler. If you need their mobile number of email address, please give me a message.

2) Hostels

There are plenty of hostels in Seoul. If you want to stay in fancy areas but can`t afford to stay in hotel, then hostels are the best choice for you. Generally you can find those hostels through agoda.com or booking.com. Domitory rooms are definitely the cheapest way to stay, however as I mentioned, if you want to stay as a double room in hostels, you should be considered stay in traditional guest house.

3) Motels

Motels are well-known as love-motels..haha But these days the concept of motel has been changed that they have become the cheaper version of hotel that you can stay with the good quality accommadation. Some motels are still love-motels in fancy areas like near clubs, If you want to stay in Motels, then you would better to check reviews and areas ( also you can find motels on agoda.com or booking.com)

4) Hotels

You can find any 5 stars hotels such as Sinla, Hilton, Lotte, Ramada etc where provide superior service.
