Hi guys, Seoul is undoubtedly modern city, but traces of its ancient past are everywhere. Some of the best examples are its traditional gates and the remains of an 18-kilometer fortress wall. Recently, hiking Seoul`s fortress walls is one of the best ways to experience the city`s ancient history, its natural beauty and enjoy some amazing views! You shouldn`t miss this route! This place is one of the best courses in Seoul, but most tourists doesn`t know about it. One thing you should know before you visit this place, you need to take your passport or driving license, the security will check your ID before you get into the SamCheongGak, because some areas still remain militarily sensitive areas.
You can starts at Anguk station. Form there it`s better to take bus to Bugak mountatin trailhead. Along the way you can visit Seoul Hanyang Doseong`s (Fortress Wall) great northern gate (Sukjeongmun) and its oldest extant gate (Changuimun). You can also make a pit stop at Samchonggak, a traditional retreat once reserved for high-ranking officials.
I will introduce the route from 1 to 6
First of all, at Seoul metro line 3`s Anguk station, take exit 2. About five meters outside the exit is a large, bright green bus sign. Take green bus 2 to Sungkyunkwan University`s rear gate( you can ask to Bus driver say 'SungKyunkwan DaeHak HuMoon). The fare is 1.000 won and the ride is about 8-10mins. As soon as you get off at Sungkyunkwan University rear gate, follow the boardwalk up the hill. After about 100 meters, the road winds to the left. A viewing platform is on the right and keep walking. At the fork in the road, veer right past the tunnel and the large white letter that says 'Waryong park'

Just keep following the path, then you will reach to the Sukjeongmun information centre. 15mins walk from the Sukjeongmun information centre to Samcheonggak, and it`s a trip well worth the effort. Few people these days know about this gorgeous destination.
