How to travel Jeju

When you travel to Jeju, you should rent a car, otherwise it is very difficult to travel around. But..the problem is you must don`t know about the Jeju. So, what would be the best option? Well, I don`t have driving license..quite embarrassing and also my boyfriend didn`t bring his international driving license so that we took a bus on our first day. It was disaster.. So, through my experience, if you don`t have driving licenses like us nor you don`t want to drive in Jeju, you can hire the taxi for 1 day. If you use the taxi, drivers know the area very well so that you can have a very comfortable holiday!

So, how can you book it?
I found several taxi drivers who can speak English. I think the cost of hiring a taxi for one day is not that expensive, and very similar to renting a car. Generally. 130,000 for one day! Taxi drivers will pick you up at the accommodation and take you to the spots where you want to go, they will wait until you walk around. My boyfriend and I traveled with taxi for 3 days and it was really good.

Suncheon Bay

Have you heard about Suncheon bay?
This place is one of my favorite places in Korea!
So, What is the Suncheon Bay?

Suncheon Bay is rapidly gaining international recognition as a natural eco-system and protected wetland on the Korean Peninsula. and This place is outstanding for its display of dense reeds, its provision of habitat to a variety bit species (local as well as migratory) and its tidal setting. The natural 'S' shape of the Bay is one Korea`s best setting for sunset photography.

This is the official Suncheon Bay website :
http://www.suncheonbay.go.kr/english/

To be honest, it is the best to visit during the autumn time, but anytime is still good! My boyfriend and I visited in the summer, the scenery was still so beautiful.

Recently, Suncheon Bay held World Garden Expo 2013 so that I think you shouldn`t miss this :)

So, how to get there?

you should take coaches to get to sunchoen! When you arrive the suncheon coach station, ask people to where is the bus stop to the suncheon bay or follow the map I attached to Suncheon Bay! When you find the bus station! take 67 bus (about 1200 won!)

it might takes about 30 mins to get to Suncheon Bay by bus. The entrance fee is only 2,000won! it`s very cheap right :)?
I think before you get there, you should bring some water and snacks, otherwise you would get really thirty or hungry.!

Hope you enjoy the suncheon! :)

BukHan San - One of the most beautiful mountains in Seoul

Hello guys,
I would like to introduce one mountain in Seoul. Have you heard about that over 70 percent of the land is mountain in Korea? Most mountains are very beautiful especially during the autumn and a majority of Koreans enjoys hiking.

BukHan San is located in the north of Seoul. So, How to get there?
You should take off the subway at Gupabal exit 2. And get on the bus 704 or 34 (costs 1100 won single) and get off at Hyojadong and Hyojadong police station(PaChulSo). If you don`t understand Korean, ask bus driver to let you know where is BukHan San. Then he or she will let you know :)

If you want to hike BukHan Mountain, it might takes about 4 - 5 hours. So, you should bring enough water and food when you pack your backpack!

Generally, people use the this route!

Don`t worry, there will be lots of people so that you wouldn`t be lost if you follow them or the direction on the map!

Hope you enjoy the lovely scenery and hiking in Seoul:)

ToHamHye - Typical Korean food

If you travel to Gyeongju and enjoy beautiful historical places, it might be perfect to try typical Korean dishes! This place is very popular among Korean tourists and this is one of the most famous restaurants in Gyeongju.

I recommend you try the set menu or Galbijjim, both of which come with lots of side dishes, a big main dish, the soup (quiet strong flavour) and bibimbaps! If you don`t like strong flavoured soup, then it is better to just try Galbijjim! It costs about 15,000won and you can share this set menu with at least two to three people.

Ashley

Sometimes, I can`t decide what I will have for lunch or dinner, because there are so many choices. In this case, it is best to go to a buffet! Ashley is one of the most popular buffets in Korea.

They serve such tasty dishes at a very reasonable price! They have different types of buffet. Generally, they cost from 12,000 won - 15,000 won for lunch and 15,000 won - 18,000 won for dinner. The reason why dinner is more expensive is they serve more various foods (like ribs) during the dinner time. There are Asian foods and Western foods so you can enjoy any dish as you like. Of course there are drinks and desserts as well! If you want something else, you can order separate dishes.  I love this place a lot and I used to go there at least more than 5 times a month when I was in Korea. I love their cream pasta, soup and bibimbap...!

Ashley is the franchise buffet so you can find this place very easily.
So, how are you going to find this place?
I suggest that you go to Google maps first, then type 'Korea' so that it brings up a map of Korea.  Once the map of Korea is up, delete 'Korea' from the search bar then copy this - 애슐리
Then you can find all of these restaurants and can find the nearest one!

One more tip! When you order, you can say you would like to use the salad bar.
If you want to check the menu, check this website! :
